SUPER SMART STUDENTS (3S)

Selain rajin mengikuti dan mendapat undangan ke beberapa acara fashion, salah satu pekerjaan saya yang lain adalah sebagai pengajar. Yups, I have 2 side of life: as a tutor and as a fashion blogger (fashion lover).

Super Smart Students( 3S) adalah sebuah lembaga bimbingan belajar yang saya dan teman-teman saya dirikan sejak tahun 2011. Sulit memilih antara dua hal yang saya sukai: mengajar dan menikmati fashion dan seni sebagai seorang blogger.

Di sinilah rumah kami (kami bahkan sering lupa kalau ini adalah tempat kami bekerja). Memang mungkin terlihat mungil dan sederhana tidak seperti tempat bimbingan belajar lain yang terlihat lebih mewah, tapi seperti apa yang Alm. Bob Sadino bilang, "Sekecil apapun usaha yang Anda punya, Anda adalah bosnya." Jadi, sebagai pebisnis pemula, kami sangat bersyukur dengan usaha yang kami miliki ini sambil terus berusaha mengembangkannya.

Rumah adalah tempat teraman dan nyaman yang kita miliki (apapun keadaannya). Konsep itulah yang saya dan teman-teman tawarkan kepada para siswa. Dengan konsep rumah, kami berharap para siswa bisa merasakan nuansa aman dan nyaman seperti di rumah sendiri sehingga mereka bisa belajar, konsultasi, tes, dan mendapat motivasi di sini.

Di tempat ini pula kami berbagi keceriaan, kegembiraan, cerita, tawa...
Tempat mungil dengan cerita besar..


Ayo, teman-teman, adik-adik, dan para alumni yang mau ikut bimbingan belajar dengan biaya murah dan ruangan kelas yang tidak terlalu ramai (kami hanya menyediakan kelas kecil agar siswa semakin fokus belajar) dan ingin mendapat nilai-nilai yang bagus...

“Exi(s)t #3: Here, Together”

Everybody has their own reason to do something or to go somewhere.

But how many reason do we need to do that?

Just take a look at this amazing poster and maybe you can count how many reasons...

Back in its third edition, the “Exi(s)t” programme is an opportunity for emerging Jakarta-based artists to participate in a series of workshops and an exhibition with a specific curatorial theme. This time, the participating artists are Aditya Pratama Putra, Nastasha Abigail, Monica Hapsari, Ryan Salim, Rio Surya Prasetia, Ivan Christanto dan Edita Atmaja. “Exi(s)t #3: Here, Together” aims to unpack the complex network of understandings about the spaces and places we inhabit together, by inviting the artists to create works in response to the question of how our surrounding environment shapes our sense of identity. 

I''ve count my own reasons:
1. I wanna see Rio Surya Prasetia photography and object instalation
2. I wanna see Ivan Christianto miror variable demension
3. The stairs.. *of course you can't go to dia.lo.gue before taking a picture at the most sought after strairs in J-town.

I think that 3 main reasons (at first) is quite enough to see this exhibition.

So I walked in the dia.lo.gue from the back door and this is the first instalation that "say hi " to me:
1. Rio Surya Prasetia photography and object instalation.

As you can see this is a sneak peak of a family room.
His family room. A room with full of culture and believes.
But the first photo from left is my fave part: where he take a photo, zoom in a particular part, and combine it with another photos.

2. Aditya Pratama - "Tanah Tindih"
Once you look at this instalation, you'll definietly fall in love with the details!
Amazing!

3. Edita Atmaja - "Toko Bunga 'Anggrek'"

Most women loves flowers, but the real flowers is to boring. So you can see the Edita Atmaja's 'flowers. With the illustration, she reproduce the flower that we can arrange.

You can not find flowers like this. Amazing!

6. Natasha Abigail- "Intervensi"
Beside  Edita Atmaja, you'll see Natasha Abigail's "Intervensi".
She used a video to intervene some photos to break the boundaries.

7. Ryan Salim -Pecahan Memori (Scattered Memories) and Monica Hapsari - The end is the beginning is not the end is the beginning is not the end.

Across the Edita and Natasha's instalation you'll find a dark room just take a few step and you'll find the light from Ryan Salim -Pecahan Memori (Scattered Memories) and Monica Hapsari - The end is the beginning is not the end is the beginning is not the end.

8.Ivan Christianto
Not like other instalations, Ivan Christianto "Beranda" is the only outdoor instalation in this exhibition and because the heavy rain, I can not see this great instalation. It cover with the plastic to cover it from the pouring rain.

I can't help myself but take a bow and give a standing ovation for these AMAZING artists.
Seriously, every and each one of you and your instalation is AMAZING!! *I don't know how much I said amazing in this entry*
